Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dalam novel Santri Pilihan Bunda karya Salsyabila Falensia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya wujud pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa. Wujud pematuhan maksim kebijaksanaan berupa tuturan ramah, tidak menyalahkan orang lain, nasihat, dan pandangan positif. Wujud pematuhan maksim kedermawanan berupa tuturan menawarkan bantuan dan memberi sesuatu kepada orang lain. Wujud pematuhan maksim pujian berupa tuturan pujian. Wujud pematuhan maksim kesederhanaan berupa tuturan kesederhanaan. Wujud pematuhan maksim kemufakatan berupa tuturan kesetujuan. Wujud pematuhan maksim kesimpatian berupa kepedulian kepada orang lain. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kebijaksanaan berupa tuturan sindiran, memaksa, dan tuduhan. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kedermawanan berupa tuturan mengancam, perintah, dan mengutamakan diri sendiri. Wujud pelanggaran maksim pujian berupa celaan. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kesederhanaan berupa tuturan membanggakan diri sendiri. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kemufakatan berupa tuturan ketidaksetujuan. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kesimpatian berupa ketidakpedulian kepada orang lain.

This research aims to describe the forms of compliance and violation of the principles of language politeness in the novel Santri Pilihan Bunda by Salsyabila Falensia. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research results show that there are forms of compliance and violation of the principles of language politeness. The form of compliance with the maxim of wisdom is in the form of friendly speech, not blaming others, advice and a positive outlook. A form of compliance with the maxim of generosity is in the form of speech offering help and giving something to others. The form of compliance with the maxim of praise is in the form of praise. The form of compliance with the maxim of simplicity is in the form of simplicity speech. The form of compliance with the maxim of consensus is an expression of agreement. The form of compliance with the maxim of sympathy is caring for others. The forms of violation of the maxim of policy are in the form of sarcasm, coercion and accusations. Violations of the maxim of generosity include threatening speech, orders, and prioritizing oneself. The form of violation of the maxim of praise is in the form of blame. A form of violation of the maxim of modesty is in the form of boasting about oneself. The form of violation of the maxim of consensus is in the form of speech of disagreement. The manifestation of violation of the maxim of sympathy is in the form of indifference to other people.
