Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi kekuasaan dalam tindak tutur direktif pada gelar wicara Mata Najwa “Coba-Coba Tatap Muka” . Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data berdasarkan tuturan pembicara. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, dan paragraf yang memuat informasi representasi kekuasaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah simak catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis percakapan yang mengkaji tata urutan pembicaraan, sikap, dan keinginan yang dimiliki. Data tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi tindak tutur direktif. Kemudian, data dianalisis aspek kekuasaannya yaitu reward power, coersive power, legitimate power, expert power, dan referent power. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pembawa acara memiliki kekuasaan yang berhubungan dengan reward power; 2) tidak ditemukan aspek kekuasaan berupa coersive power; 3) pembawa acara sering melakukan legitimate power; 4) beberapa narasumber memiliki expert power; 5) salah satu narasumber yaitu Gubernur Jawa Tengah diyakini memiliki referent power.

This study aims to describe the representation of power in the directive speech act in the speech title of Mata Najwa "Coba-Coba Tatap Muka". The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with data sources based on the speaker's speech. Research data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs that contain information on representation of power. The data collection technique used is note-taking. The data analysis technique used is conversational analysis which examines the order of speech, attitudes, and desires possessed. The data are grouped into directive speech acts. Then, the data were analyzed for aspects of power, namely reward power, coercive power, legitimate power, expert power, and referent power. The results showed that: 1) the presenter had power related to reward power; 2) there is no aspect of power in the form of coercive power; 3) presenters often exercise legitimate power; 4) several resource persons have expert power; 5) one of the speakers, namely the Governor of Central Java, is believed to have referent power.
