Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mengetahui wujud konflik, penyebab, dan penyelesaian di dalam novel Jalan Raya Pos Daendels karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Alasan menggunakan novel Jalan Raya Pos Daendels sebagai bahan penelitian yaitu karena konflik antara rakyat Indonesia dengan penjajah yang terjadi di pulau Jawa pada masa pemerintahan Daendels. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pustaka, simak, dan catat. Pada hal ini peneliti membaca novel, mencermati, dan mencatat hal yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, terhadap karya sastra dari sudut pandang sosiologi pengarang, diperoleh simpulan tentang wujud dan penyebab konflik sosial, yaitu perkelahian, penindasan, dan pembunuhan yang disebabkan oleh konflik pribadi, keluarga, dan ekonomi; dan untuk penyelesaian dari semua konflik yaitu dengan cara melalui persekutuan dengan Jepang.

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the forms of conflict, causes, and solutions in Jalan Raya Pos Daendels by Pramoedya Ananta Toer novels. The reasons for using Jalan Raya Pos Daendels Novel as material research are because of the conflict between the Indonesian people and the invaders that occurred on the island of Java during the reign of Daendels. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The collection of data techniques used in this research is the reading, listening, and writing. In this case the researcher will read the novel, observe, and record things related to research objectives. Based on the results of data analysis that has been for the aim of research, on literary works from the author’s sociological point of view, conclusions are obtained aboaut the forms and causes of social conflicts, fight, oppression, and murders caused by personal, family, and economic conflict, and for the resolutions of all conflict means of alliance with Japan.
