KARAKTER KEPEMIMPINAN ISLAM DALAM NOVEL ``PENAKLUK BADAI`` DAN ``DAHLAN``

ISLAMIC LEADERSHIP CHARACTER IN THE NOVEL ``PENAKLUK BADAI`` AND ``DAHLAN``

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan membandingkan karakter tokoh mengenai kepemimpinan Islam dalam novel Penakluk Badai karya Aguk Irawan MN dan Dahlan karya Haidar Musyafa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter yang dimiliki tokoh mengenai kepemimpinan Islam dalam kedua novel tersebut berpedoman pada delapan prinsip, yakni prinsip saling menghormati dan memuliakan, prinsip menyebarkan kasih sayang, prinsip keadilan, prinsip persamaan, prinsip perlakuan yang sama, prinsip berpegang pada akhlak yang utama, prinsip kebebasan, dan prinsip menepati janji. Perbandingan antara kedua novel tersebut menunjukkan persamaan dan perbedaan dalam kepemimpinan Islam. Persamaan kedua novel tersebut terletak pada pembuatan organisasi keislaman dan tujuan dalam menyebarkan Islam. Perbedaan kedua novel tersebut berkaitan dengan lokasi atau tempat penyebaran Islam.

This study aims to describe and compare the characters regarding Islamic leadership in the novel Conqueror of Storms by Aguk Irawan MN and Dahlan by Haidar Musyafa. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the characters possessed regarding Islamic leadership in the two novels are guided by eight principles, namely the principle of mutual respect and glorification, the principle of spreading affection, the principle of justice, the principle of equality, the principle of equal treatment, the principle of adhering to the main character, the principle of freedom, and the principle of keeping promises. The comparison between the two novels shows the similarities and differences in Islamic leadership. The similarities between the two novels lie in the creation of an Islamic organization and the goal of spreading Islam. The difference between the two novels relates to the location or place of the spread of Islam.
